This. Class. Is. Awesome.
First, before I get into how amazing this class is, I just want to give you some background about me. I hate dieting. I binge eat. I get free food at work. I can’t dance. I’ve never done yoga. I’m not in shape. I HATE exercising; however, I do attend the occasional class at the gym, if I feel like things are getting out of control.
That being said, before I first took Paige’s Buti Yoga class, I was skeptical; a “yoga and dance class” didn’t sound like something I would be into, but my friend insisted I go with her, so I did. I was sure I would go once and never go back. After the first class I was hooked. Paige’s love, energy, and aura makes you addicted to this class. Additionally, her taste in music is awesome. Paige is indescribably phenomenal. I’ve never stuck to anything – unless you count sticking to not committing to anything, which shows you that this class is something special. It’s different because it’s not only fun, but it leaves you with a feel-good feeling that lingers. It honestly changed how I thought and felt about myself. It might have been the weight loss, it might have been the awesome women I was around by twice a week for six weeks, but I started feeling less self-conscious. I felt more confident, sexy and strong than ever. These feelings were fermented when I came to class and was surrounded with vibrant feminine energy by women who truly embodied the warrior goddess spirit.
If you are looking to take an exercise class to lose weight, take this class because you get so much more. You’ll leave class feeling lighter, both physically and emotionally. There have been many times I’ve come to this class upset or worried about something and have come out with a smile on my face. This class does change your body and it’s an excellent workout, but what really makes this class worth it, is the positive energy, mindset, and spirit you gain coming out of it.
